Nervous System Support
Your mind understands. Your body is still bracing.
A guided Safe and Sound Protocol experience for people who are ready to feel more grounded, connected, and available for their lives.
You can know why you overthink, shut down, people-please, become overwhelmed, or struggle to stay connected—and still feel unable to respond differently in the moment.
That does not mean you are failing.
Sometimes insight is only part of the work. Your nervous system may also need support experiencing greater safety, connection, and capacity.
The Safe and Sound Protocol is a guided listening experience designed to support nervous-system regulation. Together, we move slowly and intentionally, paying attention to how your body responds rather than pushing you through a rigid program.
You may be here because…
You feel anxious, overstimulated, or constantly on alert.
You understand your patterns intellectually, but your body still reacts before you can access what you know.
You struggle to rest without feeling guilty, restless, or unproductive.
You become overwhelmed, disconnected, numb, irritable, or emotionally flooded.
You find it difficult to stay present during conflict, vulnerability, intimacy, or change.
You are tired of trying to think your way into feeling better.
You do not need another reason to judge yourself.
You may need a different kind of support.
The Safe and Sound Protocol, also known as SSP, is a provider-guided listening program designed to support the nervous system through specially filtered music.
What is the Safe and Sound Protocol?
The listening experience is intended to support greater regulation, connection, and flexibility within the nervous system. It is not something you are expected to complete quickly or force yourself through.
Your listening pace is personalized based on your responses, your needs, and your current capacity.
This is not simply access to an app or playlist.
It is a supported process that includes preparation, listening, reflection, and integration.
Why nervous-system support matters
Many people have already done a great deal of personal growth work.
They have read the books. They understand their attachment patterns. They know where their people-pleasing began. They can explain exactly why they become anxious, avoidant, reactive, or disconnected.
And yet, in the moment, their body still responds as though something is unsafe.
Nervous-system support is not about eliminating every uncomfortable feeling or remaining calm all the time.
It is about expanding your capacity to stay connected to yourself when discomfort arises.
It may help create more space between what happens and how you respond.
That space is where choice, boundaries, self-trust, and connection become more possible.
How I offer SSP
I do not believe in handing you access to the music and leaving you to navigate the experience alone.
We begin by understanding what you are currently experiencing, what support you already have, and what you hope will feel different.
From there, we create a personalized listening plan.
Your experience may include shorter listening periods, pauses, adjustments, and integration support along the way.
There is no prize for finishing quickly.
We move at the pace your nervous system can meet.

Safe Within FAQs
Is SSP therapy?
No. I offer SSP within my work as a coach and certified SSP practitioner. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or psychiatric care.
Can I do SSP while working with a therapist?
Many people use SSP alongside other forms of support. We can discuss your current care team and whether communication with another provider may be helpful.
How long does SSP take?
The core listening program contains several hours of filtered music, but the full process often takes place over several weeks or months. The pace depends on how your nervous system responds.
Do I listen every day?
Not necessarily. Some people listen regularly. Others need shorter sessions, rest days, or longer pauses between listening periods. Your plan will be personalized.
What happens if I feel activated?
Activation does not mean you have failed. We will pay attention to your responses, reduce or pause listening when needed, and focus on integration before continuing.
Can I complete SSP remotely?
Yes. SSP can be offered remotely when it is appropriate for the individual and there is a clear plan for communication and support.
What equipment do I need?
You will need a compatible device, internet access, and appropriate headphones. Specific guidance will be provided before you begin.
Will SSP cure my anxiety or trauma?
SSP is not a cure and results cannot be guaranteed. It is designed to support nervous-system regulation and may complement other forms of care, healing, and personal development.
You do not have to force yourself into safety
Your body learned its patterns for a reason.
The goal is not to shame those patterns, rush past them, or demand that you calm down.
The work is to create enough support, steadiness, and connection for your nervous system to experience something new.
Because self-trust is not only believing what you know.
It is having enough internal capacity to stay with yourself when it matters.
